About Us

The reality is stark: over 60% of adults in Cameroon lack basic ICT skills. This digital divide limits opportunities for personal and professional growth, trapping many in cycles of poverty and exclusion. The problem is particularly severe among older adults and underprivileged youth, who are often left out of the tech revolution that is shaping our future. But we’re changing that. 

Through free, hands-on ICT training programs, HighUpWeb Foundation is opening doors for those who have been shut out. In just two years, we have trained and empowered over 200 individuals, including displaced persons, disadvantaged youth, and adults eager to build better futures for themselves and their families. Our participants are learning essential skills in  basic computer literacy, web development, digital marketing, graphic design, Database Administration and more. But we’re doing more than teaching; we’re creating a movement. Many of our graduates are now digital ambassadors, using their new skills to uplift others in their communities.

Our programs are designed not only to teach technical skills but also to foster community and mentorship. Participants are becoming digital ambassadors, sharing their knowledge with peers and inspiring others to embrace the digital world. By creating a supportive environment of mentorship and collaboration, we empower participants not just to learn but to lead.

We see firsthand how technology can transform lives. A young woman starts her own online business. A displaced father learns to provide for his family through remote work. An elderly man reconnects with his peers through digital communication. These stories of transformation are the heartbeat of HighUpWeb Foundation and a testament to the power of technology to change lives.
